The Slick Skin Drum Fish Scaler allows you to clean up to 50 smaller fish at the same time. You remove the pin that attaches the door to the large stainless steel drum, toss in the fish, replace the door. Add water and plug it in. Your fish are descaled in as little as 5 minutes. Remove the fish, dispose of the water and scales, rinse it off.
This machine has been modified over the years. It has a large door opening, large holes that scrape the scales but do not fill with the residue, and a strong motor. This is the machine to get if your fish are smaller but plentiful. The Slick Skin is better than other drum scalers on the market due to the larger holes. On others, the holes get plugged by the scales.
There are other drum fish scalers on the market, but they have smaller holes which clog and do not scale the fish as well. The Slick Skin is the one to get.
