The Food Machinery of America and the Haskins Strand fish scalers are both older models of the Northrock fish scaler. They are both discontinued. The Northrock fish scaler is an upgraded model that is more durable. You can view and purchase the Northrock fish scaler here.

THE FOOD MACHINERY OF AMERICA FISH SCALER HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. This fish scaler is made by Northrock. There is no difference between an FMA scaler and a Northrock or Haskins-Strand other than name. Starting in 2017, the FMA fish scaler switched to the Northrock model.
